Viewport playback lag caused by specific model

2021.12.08 10:37 Head_Smile_9226 Viewport playback lag caused by specific model

So I’m animating 2 characters, however one of the models causes the viewport’s FPS go decrease alot, I think this is because it has a lot more polygons than the other one. Is there a way to lower them temporarily while animating? Also is there any other methods to fix the playback? Thanks

2021.12.08 10:37 ilygora Need for advice as a newcomer

I found out about Crypto a long time ago, like 4 years ago but I was 12 so I couldn't do anything to get cryptos. Fast forward to 3 months ago I found out about this sub which awakened my curiosity and love for cryptos. (I'm currently 16) I decided to talk to my dad about crypto, I explained him how they work (with my current knowledge of course, since I still have a lot to learn).
He said that I have his permission and he gave me some money, not too much because our financial situation isn't so good if yk what I mean. He gave me a discrete amount of money that I can withdraw from his card.
I've read that telling people how much money you have isn't a good move in this subreddit so I'm not going to say how much I have, just know its below 500€ but above 100€. What I thought is that what I have is not enough to make serious gains (because I want to help my family and start building a successfull future as early as possible)
I made a list of the cryptocurrencies I thought of buying but many of them are long term so If I invested a small amount of money in them today I wouldn't make a lot of money out of It in the next years.
The question is: Should I initially buy in short term cryptos to ammass money and increase my capital? (So I'll have more money to buy the cryptocurrencies I believe in and maximise my future gains) And what cryptos would those be? I will later research some by myself but It'd be good if you guys told me some.
Farming moons would be a good option but I'm not good at shitposting (I'll try tho) And even if I did I would keep those moons because I'm pretty sure they'll blow up later.
I live in a european country in which I can't work/have a job so I have no way of making money yet Plus, I'll open an account with my Dad so everything is regular.

2021.12.08 10:37 blackberry_lover Stable distribution for fairly "old" simracing PC

Hi all, I am looking for a distribution to run on an "old" PC I use for simracing/gaming purposes only. I am currently running Fedora 35 GNOME on my personal laptop that I use for everything, but I want something stable for my desktop that does not need to be updated as often. Because I do not use my desktop very often, I do not want to wait for updates every time I fire it up (Windows...).
The specifications of the PC are:

I know quite a lot about Linux from running it on my other hardware, however, I do not have experience with Linux gaming. GNOME is my favourite DE on my laptop, but on my gaming PC, I would be happing with running something like Xfce (something stable that just gets out of my way).
Like I said, the computer will be used for gaming and simracing, specifically Assetto Corsa and Euro Truck Simulator 2 (incl. TruckersMP). It needs to support my gaming wheel, a Thrustmaster T300RS. This is important, and if this does not work, please recommend me to stay on Windows.
Distrochooser recommended me Debian and this is also the distribution I was looking at, but I would like to hear whether this is a good idea. Thank you!

2021.12.08 10:37 anonymousaccount0618 Pls suggest to me a Malaysian prepaid plan with a good hotspot plan

I've been using UMobile GX30 for years, but nowadays I find that I used up 6GB of hotspot in only a few days, it's not sufficient for me. The rest of my family don't find importance for wifi subscription (and this fact will never change in a million years) so as a student doing online class, I rely 90% of the time on mobile hotspot, 10% is when I connect PDANet from my laptop to my android phone.
I wonder if Malaysia has other prepaid plans that are good for hotspot subscription, without taking where one live into consideration (bcs ik internet connection is kinda inconsistent in Malaysia). Maxis? Celcom? etc.

2021.12.08 10:37 Tysthe Need help deploying fonts

Hey guys, I am currently trying to create a package in sccm that I can push to our devices that simply installs 3 fonts. I have a .vbs script in the same folder with the 3 fonts and that folder is sitting on a network server. If you double click the .vbs script it installs the 3 fonts immediately. When you deploy through sccm and open up the software center to watch the download it just hangs on installing or fails.
Can anyone walk me through this?

Hi All,
I took the plunge and completed the AZ-800: Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure (beta) exam this morning (day after release). It was not as hard as I expected overall however there were some sections I could really have studied more on. My pool of questions really seemed to focus on the following:

I done a full write up of my experience here: (my blog) https://ourcloudnetwork.com/az-800-exam-completed-with-feedback-and-notes/. I hope my notes help you decide on when you should take this exam!
